Who are we looking for?
You have a Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent), at least 10 years of relevant experience, and a deep knowledge of payroll taxation and parafiscal frameworks. You are fluent in Dutch and comfortable communicating in French and English.
But most of all, you are someone who enjoys analyzing complex legislation, turning it into practical solutions, and sharing your knowledge with others.

What are the key responsibilities?
As an HR Tax Expert, you will become a driving force within our Legal Partners team. Your work will have a direct impact on both Attentia and its clients:
- Ensure compliance: You safeguard the payroll taxation and parafiscal framework of Attentia’s Social Secretariat.
- Translate legislation into practice: You follow socio-economic developments and new laws closely, analyze them, and convert them into concrete payroll processes (engine adjustments, pay codes, etc.).
- Develop tools and knowledge: You create templates, guidelines, and tools that help our colleagues and clients apply the rules effectively.
- Train and share expertise: You prepare and deliver training sessions, presentations, and knowledge sharing for colleagues in the Social Secretariat.
- Communicate to the outside world: You share expertise with clients and prospects through articles, webinars, and press communications.
- Represent Attentia: You participate in fiscal working groups of the Union of Social Secretariats, ensuring our voice is heard at sector level.
- Mentor and coach: You guide less experienced colleagues and strengthen the expertise within our team.
Your analytical advice ensures that Attentia Social Secretariat remains fully compliant in payroll taxation and parafiscal matters. Your input empowers clients to make well-founded decisions, while your tools and training make complex legislation accessible for both colleagues and external partners.
