Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate has:

  • A Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian university – additional qualifications are considered assets!
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in banking or fiscal law, but don’t hesitate to apply when you have less experience.
  • A solid foundation in banking laws and regulations.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional legal quality and service.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a clear and client-focused approach.
  • A proactive mindset to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • A highly-driven spirit and strong analytical skills.
  • A sense of humor and the ability to relativize.
  • Fluency in Dutch, with good knowledge of French and English.

Your role will include:

  • Providing legal expertise and advice to clients in the banking and financial sector
  • Responsibility for handling complex legal affairs related to banking regulations, financial transactions, compliance & court cases
  • Drawing up contracts, analyzing financial agreements, staying up-to-date on legislation and representing clients during negotiations or legal procedures
