Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate has:
- A Master’s degree in Law, supplemented by a degree in Taxation.
- 2 to 8 years of experience in corporate tax practice, with M&A and Private Equity experience being a strong advantage.
- Fluency in Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of the other language and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, inspiring confidence in clients.
- A team-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- A meticulous approach with the ability to provide thorough analysis and creative, practical solutions.
- An eagerness to learn, resilience, and discretion.
As a Tax Associate Private Equity & M&A, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through all phases of the M&A process, including:
- Restructuring businesses to prepare for transactions.
- Setting up optimal investment structures.
- Conducting tax due diligence for buyers and sellers.
- Developing post-acquisition structures.
Additionally, you will work with Venture Capital and Private Equity funds, general partners, and limited partners on:
- Structuring and setting up funds.
- Designing incentive plans for managers.
For international transactions, you will collaborate with Tiberghien’s extensive global network of tax offices to assemble bespoke teams that meet the unique needs of each client.
